About Ric Kent

One of New Mexico's  most creative Hair & Make-up Artist to come along in some time.  Ric  has definitely made his mark in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe hair  and  beauty industry.

 Ric obtained an apprenticeship with nationally renowned hair & make-up artist Joseph Savvedra,  Formerly of Palm Springs, CA. Josephs'  clientele has included Barbara Sinatra, Stephanie Powers,  Nancy Regan,  Dinah Shore and New Mexico's own  Carla Aragon of KOBTV the NBC affiliate in Albuquerque.  Other  influential people Ric has studied under have included Scott Cole  and Linda Yodice of John Paul Mitchell Systems  as well as Vivienne Mackinder of NYC, Martin Parsons of Canadian Fame, Eve Pearl Grammy winning make-up artist, Billy B make-up artist to the stars and James Vincent Director of Artistry for the Powder Group.

In Addition, Ric is currently a certified instructor  and color specialist for the Aveda Corporation's "Full Spectrum" color line, and in 1998 became the first exclusive Great Lengths Extension specialist in New Mexico. In 2002, Ric was proud to bring to New Mexico for the first time Airbrush Make-Up and Celebrity Quality  Hair Replacement for Men, a  virtually non-detectable Hair replacement system for Men and Women. In 2009 Ric has done it again by exclusively bringing to New Mexico for the first time the Brazilian Blowout. America’s #1  smoothing treatment - Brazilian Blowout, is the only smoothing treatment in the market that actually improves hair’s condition.

 Some of  Rics' clients  have included New Mexico Women Magazine, Rio Grande Jewelry Catalogue for the Swarovski collection, Cliff and Lisa  of  92.3 KRST Radio, Miss Teen New Mexico  " Joni Arnette",  Latin Recording Artist " Ayessa", New Mexico Opera Singer " Lina Ramos" and has worked with news anchors and reporters from all major TV stations in the Albuquerque area including NBC affiliate KOB TV , ABC affiliate  KOAT TV , Fox Television KASA TV and CBS Affiliate News 13

Ric has worked in the hair & make-up industry for 14 years and is currently sole proprietor of Cir Kent A Salon,  located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
